Mavs Dominant In New Orleans
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the host New Orleans Pelicans, 139-107, at Smoothie King Center on Wednesday evening.

The Mavs jumped out to a great start with a, 41-23, lead after one quarter. The hosts had no answers in the second, as the Mavs maintained control and took a 21-point lead into the break. The Mavericks came out strong again in the third and added another six points to their advantage, to put the game entirely out of reach, with a 27-point lead heading into the final frame. The win marks the end of a two-game slide for the Mavs.

Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 28 points, four rebounds, 14 assists and a steal, in 27 minutes. Kristaps Porzingis followed up with 20 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocks, while Jalen Brunson chipped in 17 points, off the bench. The Mavs shot 69 percent from the field, including 18-of-34 from long range.

Meanwhile, Brandon Ingram led the Pelicans with 29 points, two rebounds and three assists, in 31 minutes. Devonte' Graham followed up with 13 points, six assists and two steals, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker chipped in 12 points, two rebounds, four assists and a steal, off the bench. The Pelicans shot 45 percent from the field, including 13-of-37 from deep.

The Mavs (11-9) and Pelicans (6-18) will face off again in Dallas on Friday.
