Kings Defeat Clippers, 124-115
The Sacramento Kings defeated the host Los Angeles Clippers, 124-115, at Staples Center on Wednesday.

A 29-21 first quarter set the tone for Sacramento in this game, holding the lead for the final three quarters. In fact, the Kings put the game to bed behind a 37-24 third quarter, grabbing a game-high 25-point lead. Sacramento shot 52 percent from the field, 40 percent from three-point range and 85 percent from the free-throw line while holding Los Angeles to 47 percent from the field, 29 percent from long range and 75 percent from the charity stripe. The Kings starters outscored the Clippers starters, 88-44. In addition, Sacramento outscored LA in fastbreak points, 20-11.

The Kings (9-13) were led by De'Aaron Fox, accruing 24 points, three rebounds, five assists and three steals. Terence Davis totaled 23 points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals. Richaun Holmes registered 16 points, 11 rebounds and three assists, Tyrese Haliburton tallied 13 points and 11 assists, while Davion Mitchell led the bench with 20 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals.

The Clippers (11-11) were led by Luke Kennard, providing 19 points, four rebounds and two assists off the bench. Ivica Zubac led the starters with 17 points and seven rebounds. Reggie Jackson collected 12 points, four rebounds and six assists while Terance Mann had 19 points, four rebounds and four assists. The bench actually outscored the starters, 71-44.

On deck for Los Angeles is a matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday. As for Sacramento, they return to action on Saturday in a rematch with these Clippers.
