Magic Upsets Nuggets, 108-103
The Orlando Magic defeated the Denver Nuggets, 108-103, at Amway Center on Wednesday night.

The Nuggets (10-11) came into the contest as significant road favorites for good reason, and they lived up to every bit of that billing during a first quarter in which they outscored the Magic (5-18) by a 29-15 margin. Orlando was able to enjoy more success offensively in the second quarter but still faced a 16-point halftime deficit. However, the tide of the game turned in the third quarter, when the hosts put a 12-point dent into Denver's advantage. The Magic then eventually took the lead for good on a three-pointer from Franz Wagner with 1:45 remaining to seal the comeback victory.

Monte Morris paced the Nuggets with 22 points, complementing them with two rebounds, two assists and one block. Nikola Jokic generated an 18-point, 15-rebound double-double that included seven assists and one steal. Aaron Gordon furnished 17 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Will Barton delivered 14 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Cole Anthony led the Magic with 24 points, supplementing them with eight rebounds and seven assists. Wendell Carter Jr. supplied 18 points and eight rebounds. Wagner registered 15 points, five assists, three rebounds, three steals and one block. Moritz Wagner tallied 12 points, while Gary Harris compiled 11 points, three assists, one rebound, three steals and one block.

The Nuggets remain on the road and visit the New York Knicks on Saturday afternoon, while the Magic travel to Houston and face the Rockets on Friday night.
