The Phoenix Suns defeated the host San Antonio Spurs, 115-111, at AT&T Center on Monday.

While there were four lead changes in the opening minutes, Phoenix held the lead for the final 40 minutes of their victory. That can be attributed to a 24-20 first quarter and 33-24 second quarter. The Suns shot 12-of-27 from three-point range and 13-of-16 from the free-throw line while the Spurs hit just 5-of-20 from long range and 8-of-16 from the charity stripe. Both teams shot 52 percent from the field.

The Suns (14-3) were led by Devin Booker and his 23 points, three rebounds and four assists. Deandre Ayton amassed 21 points, 14 rebounds and three assists. Chris Paul collected 12 points, two rebounds and four assists, while Cameron Payne led the bench with 20 points, three rebounds and three assists. JaVale McGee and Landry Shamet reached double figures in scoring off the bench as well.
