Grizzlies Defeat Jazz, 119-118
The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the host Utah Jazz, 119-118, at Vivint Arena on Monday.

This game was full of swings, taking 12 ties and 16 lead changes to determine a winner. Neither club led by more than 11 points though, with Memphis scoring the final seven points over the closing 70 seconds to prevail. That actually answered an 8-0 run by the Jazz in the two minutes prior, with Jaren Jackson Jr knocking down the game-winning three with 6.7 seconds remaining. Donovan Mitchell has a chance to win at the buzzer but missed a fadeaway jumper. The Grizzlies doubled up the Jazz in steals, 10-5, which allowed them to win the turnover battle, 14-7. In addition, Memphis outscored Utah in second-chance points, 22-12.

The Grizzlies (9-8) were led by Ja Morant and his 32 points, four rebounds, seven assists and two steals. Desmond Bane amassed 28 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals. JJJ hit the game-winner and finished with 26 points, eight rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Brandon Clarke led the bench with 10 points and nine rebounds.

The Jazz (11-6) were led by Bojan Bogdanovic, totaling 24 points, three rebounds and three assists. Rudy Gobert registered 23 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks. Mitchell shot 5-of-20 from the field to tally 18 points, six rebounds and eight assists. Mike Conley compiled 19 points, four rebounds and eight assists.

Both teams return to action on Wednesday, with Memphis returning home to play the Toronto Raptors and Utah traveling to face the Oklahoma City Thunder.
