Hawks Dominate To Defeat Thunder
The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder, 113-101, at StateFarm Arena on Monday evening.

The Hawks (9-9) finally moved to the .500 threshold with another strong win, as they took care of the Thunder (6-11) with a strong victory thanks to a solid start and a strong game on both ends of the floor. Atlanta jumped out to a 32-27 lead in the first quarter, and they bolstered that lead following a 34-33 score in the second quarter. Holding a six-point lead with 24 minutes left on the game, Atlanta pulled away for good with a dominant effort in the third quarter thanks to a 27-11 score, and that was enough to get the job done. Oklahoma City won the final quarter by 10 points (30-20), but that was enough to prevent the Hawks to win the game by a double-digit margin. The Hawks shot 48.3 percent from the field and 41.2 percent from three-point range, while the Thunder shot 40.2 percent from the field and a meager 26.3 percent from three-point range.

John Collins posted 11 points, six rebounds and five assists, while both Bogdan Bogdanovic and Kevin Huerter each posted 13 points and five rebounds, though Huerter also contributed five assists. Danilo Gallinari recorded 11 points, six boards and three assists off the bench.
