Bulls and Magic Tangle in Central Florida
The Chicago Bulls take on the Orlando Magic at Amway Center on Friday night.

The Bulls (12-7) had been riding high for most of the season before hitting some recent stumbling blocks, and they'll enter Friday's game having dropped back-to-back decisions. Their most recent stumble was especially surprising, considering they fell to the one-win Houston Rockets by a 118-113 score. Zach LaVine led the Bulls with 28 points, complementing them with four assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block. Lonzo Ball supplied 19 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks. DeMar DeRozan provided 17 points, seven assists, five rebounds and one steal. Alex Caruso compiled 15 points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals. Nikola Vucevic generated a 14-point, 13-rebound double-double that included four assists, one steal and one block.

The Bulls come into Friday's game without any short-term injuries to report.

The Magic (4-15) are in the midst of yet another losing streak, as they'll enter Friday's contest having dropped four consecutive games. Their most recent defeat came at the hands of the Charlotte Hornets, which toppled them by a 106-99 score Wednesday night. Mo Bamba led the way with an 18-point, 12-rebound double-double. Jalen Suggs compiled 17 points, six assists, four rebounds, one steal and one block. Franz Wagner delivered 16 points, seven boards and four assists. Wendell Carter contributed 14 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals. Gary Harris and Moritz Wagner posted matching 13-point, four-assist tallies.

The Magic will continue without E'Twaun Moore (knee) and Michael Carter-Williams (ankle) or Friday's game. Terrence Ross (back) and Cole Anthony (ankle) will be listed as questionable.

Friday's game marks the first of four meetings between the teams this season. The Magic won the three-game 2020-21 season series with the Bulls by a 2-1 margin.
