Shorthanded Magic Look To Get Back On Track At Home
The Orlando Magic play host to the Charlotte Hornets at Amway Center on Wednesday evening.

This marks the first game back home after a five game road trip for the Magic (4-14), where they went 1-4, culminating with three straight losses. They will look to get back on track as they return home, where they have a, 1-6, record. The Magic have six players averaging double digits in scoring, however, their top scorer, Cole Anthony (ankle) will remain sidelined for the third straight game. Franz Wagner is the team's next-highest scorer, averaging 12.4 points on 42 percent shooting, including 36 percent from long range. Wendell Carter Jr. is averaging 12.2 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists, while Mo Bamba is averaging 10.7 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.2 blocks and 1.0 steals per game. The Magic are averaging 100.9 points per game, which is among the lowest in the league, and they are shooting 41.5 percent from the field, which is third worst in the league.

Meanwhile, this marks the third and final game of a road trip for the Hornets (11-8), where they have gone 1-1 so far, with a loss in Atlanta, followed by a win in Washington in their most recent contest. They will look to build off the momentum of Monday's win with the hopes of adding to their, 5-6, road record. Miles Bridges leads the team, averaging 20.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.4 steals per game. LaMelo Ball continues to play at a very high level, averaging 19.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, 7.7 assists and 2.0 steals, while Gordon Hayward is averaging 17.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. The Hornets are averaging 112.2 points per game, which is third most in the league. However, they are having some trouble on the defensive end, as they are giving up an average of 113.1 points per game.
