Heat Looking For Another Win, Visit Timberwolves
The Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Miami Heat at Target Center on Wednesday night.

The Timberwolves (8-9) are coming off a 110-96 road win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday. Karl-Anthony Towns led the Timberwolves with 28 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block, in 35 minutes. Anthony Edwards followed up with 18 points, seven rebounds, three steals and a block, while Jared Vanderbilt totaled 16 points, 11 rebounds and two steals. The Timberwolves shot 40 percent from the field, including 10-of-44 from deep. Minnesota has gone 5-6 at home, though, and this is an area where the team needs to improve.

The Heat (12-6) had to work harder than expected to get past the Detroit Pistons on Monday, and they mounted a huge comeback in the fourth quarter to escape with victory. Tyler Herro was the best player for the Heat in this contest despite coming off the bench and ended with 31 points while shooting 12-for-21 from the field, and he also added eight rebounds and three assists. Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Kyle Lowry ended with 15 points, though Butler and Adebayo also produced matching tallies of nine rebounds and five assists. Lowry also had eight assists, six rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Duncan Robinson had 11 points. Miami has won five of its last six contests.
