Jalen McMillan

McMillan was very productive at Washington. However, a knee injury last year cost the receiver about two months, and his draft stock may have tumbled as a result. With the No. 92 pick in the draft, the Buccaneers added the 6-foot-1, 197-pound receiver. The Tampa Bay coaching staff has talked about moving Chris Godwin the slot after the veteran played often on the outside last year. Should that happen, McMillan may immediately see an outside receiver role when the Buccaneers go to three-receiver sets. Last season, Trey Palmer was the No. 3 receiver, though Palmer is primarily a slot player. McMillan would potentially benefit from the attention that defenses must give to Mike Evans and Godwin. Overall, seeing regular target volume may be an issue for the rookie, but McMillan landed in an excellent spot where he could be productive. Read Past Outlooks
