2023 Fantasy Outlook
Prince was signed by the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent this offseason after handling 314 rushes for 1,723 yards and 14 touchdowns over his final three seasons at Tulsa. The rookie running back will have to compete for a spot on the roster behind Isiah Pacheco, Jerick McKinnon, Clyde Edwards-Helaire and La'Mical Perine. So far, Prince has impressed his coaches and it appears he could carve out a role as a kick returner on special teams. Read Past Outlooks

Remaining in Kansas City
Prince signed a reserve/future contract with the Chiefs on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
ANALYSIS
Prince will return to Kansas City, where he spent time on the practice squad after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent last May. The 23-year-old played in two games but failed to record any stats, and he'll look to secure a roster spot heading into the 2024 campaign.

Standing out in OTAs
Prince has performed well during OTAs while looking especially impressive as a pass catcher, Nate Taylor of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Taylor believes Prince's strong showing thus far has substantially boosted his chances of making Kansas City's 53-man roster. The undrafted rookie out of Tulsa has drawn comparisons to Isiah Pacheco, who had a strong camp showing as a seventh-round pick in 2022 and eventually became Kansas City's lead back by the end of the season. In addition to Pacheco -- who is recovering from surgeries on his hand and labrum -- the Chiefs have Jerick McKinnon, Clyde Edwards-Helaire and La'Mical Perine in the backfield along with Prince.
