Celtics Pull Comeback To Get Past Bucks
The Boston Celtics defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, 116-108, on Monday in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals in the 2022 NBA Playoffs. The series is now tied 2-2.

The Celtics endured a slow start in this game and were close to falling 3-1 in the series, but Boston recovered just in time and managed to top the Bucks to even up the series, and most importantly, they were able to recover the home-field advantage. The Bucks jumped out to a seven-point lead following the first quarter (25-18), but the Celtics showed signs of turning things around with a 29-23 score just before the break, making it a one-point game with 24 minutes left to play. The Bucks responded with a 32-26 score in the third quarter and restored their seven-point advantage, but the Celtics flipped the script in the fourth with a furious comeback. A 43-28 score in the final 12 minutes allowed the Celtics to steal a huge victory on the road and swift the momentum of the series.

Jayson Tatum and Al Horford led the Celtics in this one following matching 30-point performances. Tatum also added 13 rebounds and five assists, while Horford also grabbed eight boards while dishing out three dimes. Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown had 18 points each, with Brown pulling down three boards and Smart dishing out eight assists. Derrick White was the other Boston player who scored in double digits after tallying 11 points off the bench.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 34 points and 18 rebounds, but his efforts were not enough to lift the Bucks down the stretch. Brook Lopez ended with 17 points and seven rebounds, while Jrue Holiday delivered 16 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and three steals. Wesley Matthews ended with 12 points but didn’t do much in other categories. Pat Connaughton posted 11 points.
