Cavs Stun Mavericks In Dallas
The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the host Dallas Mavericks, 114-96, at American Airlines Center on Monday evening.

The Cavs got out to a strong start on the road with a, 30-23, lead after one quarter. They kept the upper hand through the second and pushed their lead up to 11, by halftime. The Mavs had no answers in the third, as they saw the deficit grow to 22 points, by the end of the quarter. The Cavs had no trouble hanging on through the final frame, as they closed out the impressive road win. This marks the second straight win for the Cavaliers, and it marks the second straight loss for the Mavericks.

Jarrett Allen led the way for the Cavs, with 28 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and a block, in 34 minutes. Lauri Markkanen followed up with 24 points, eight rebounds, two assists and a steal, while Darius Garland finished with 18 points, two rebounds and nine assists. The Cavs shot 56 percent from the field, including 10-of-19 from long range.

Meanwhile, Luka Doncic led the Mavs with 25 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and a steal, in 33 minutes. Dorian Finney-Smith followed up with 14 points, two assists and two steals, while Maxi Kleber chipped in 13 points, off the bench. The Mavs shot 44 percent from the field, including 12-of-39 from deep.

The Mavs (11-8) will look to bounce back as they take on the Pelicans in New Orleans on Wednesday. The Cavs (11-10) take on the Heat in Miami on Wednesday.
