Pistons, Heat Collide In Motor City
The Detroit Pistons will host the Miami Heat at Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday evening.

The Pistons (4-12) are coming off a woeful 121-116 loss against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday. Jerami Grant paced the Pistons with 36 points, complementing them with four rebounds, three assists and one steal. Hamidou Diallo managed 17 points, six boards, one assist, two steals and one block. Frank Jackson netted 15 points, while Saddiq Bey turned in 14 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal. Cade Cunningham generated a 13-point, 12-rebound, 10-assist triple-double with two steals. The Pistons have now lost two in a row and own a 2-7 mark at home.

The Heat (11-6) are coming off a 103-100 loss against the Washington Wizards on Saturday. Jimmy Butler led the Heat with 29 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals, in 38 minutes. Tyler Herro followed up with 20 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals, while Bam Adebayo totaled 15 points, six rebounds and three assists. The Heat shot 47 percent from the field, including 7-of-27 from long range. That loss against Washington snapped their four-game winning streak. They’ve also gone 5-5 when playing on the road.
