Lauter was bumped up the depth chart Saturday after Riley Smith (undisclosed) was ruled out. The sophomore tight end scored his first collegiate touchdown with a 26-yard grab in the second quarter, putting Boise State ahead 14-10, before adding a second score from two yards out later in the half. Lauter came into the day with just one catch for one yard in his previous four games. Overall, he has 105 yards on six receptions this season.
