Pacers Close Out Series With Game 6 Win
The Indiana Pacers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, 120-98, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference first round. The Pacers won the series 4-2.

The Pacers dominated the game right from the get-go and didn’t have problems establishing their terms in front of their fans. Indiana raced to a 33-24 lead in the first quarter, and while the Bucks showed signs of life at times, it wasn’t enough to mount a comeback. The Pacers bolstered their lead even further and made it a double-digit game following a 26-23 score in the second quarter. The Bucks tried to fight back in the second half, but it was impossible. The Pacers won the final two quarters as well, 34-31 and 27-20, respectively, to close the game out and book a spot in the Eastern Conference semifinals. The Pacers will meet the winner of the series between the 76ers and the Knicks.

Obi Toppin and T.J. McConnell paced Indiana with 21 and 20 points off the bench, respectively. Toppin also grabbed eight rebounds, while McConnell added nine assists and four steals to his stat line. Tyrese Haliburton posted 17 points, 10 assists and six rebounds. Andrew Nembhard had 14 points, four assists and five rebounds. Pascal Siakam recorded 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Indiana shot 54.1 percent from the field and 32.5 percent from three-point range.

Damian Lillard led the way for the Bucks with 28 points and four assists. Brook Lopez had 20 points and five rebounds. Bobby Portis notched 20 points, 15 rebounds and two assists. Khris Middleton had 14 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals. The Bucks shot a meager 42.2 percent from the field and 25.9 percent from three-point range.
