Clippers Complete Comeback To Defeat Cavaliers
The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 120-118, at crypto.com Arena on Sunday.

The Clippers (50-28) had to work harder than expected to get past the Cavaliers (46-33) in front of 19,370 fans. The Cavaliers turned heads with their play in the first quarter and raced to a 40-33 score in the opening 12 minutes. The Cavaliers kept the momentum going and bolstered their lead even further, posting a 40-26 score in the second quarter to hold a 21-point lead entering the second half. However, the Clippers responded in the third quarter and showed signs of a comeback following a 27-18 score. The Cavaliers were still on top heading into the final quarter, but the Clippers saved their best stretch of basketball for the final 12 minutes. A 34-20 score in the fourth quarter gave the Clippers not only a complete comeback but a massive win at home, too. With the victory, the Clippers moved to 25-13 at home, while the Cavaliers fell to 22-19 on the road.

Paul George came through down the stretch for the Clippers and led the team with 39 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. James Harden delivered 22 points, five rebounds and five assists. Tre Mann and Ivica Zubac each had 14 points. Mann had four rebounds and three dimes, while Zubac pulled down 11 boards. Norman Powell added 14 points off the bench.

Darius Garland was the leading scorer for the Cavaliers with 28 points, eight assists, five steals and five rebounds. Max Strus and Evan Mobley each had 20 points. Mobley also grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists, while Strus handed out nine dimes. Caris LeVert had 18 points and five boards. Jarrett Allen posted 17 points and 10 rebounds. Isaac Okoro added 11 points coming off the bench.
