Warriors Blast Mavericks, 112-87
The Golden State Warriors defeated the Dallas Mavericks, 112-87, at Chase Center on Wednesday night in Game 1 of their Western Conference Finals series. The Warriors lead the series, 1-0.

The two teams came into the series-opening game with just a pair of days of rest separating them, but for most of the night, the Warriors (1-0) looked like the far more energized squad. Golden State already held a 28-18 lead over the Mavericks (0-1) after one quarter still held a nine-point advantage at halftime. However, any thoughts of a comeback were quickly squashed in the third quarter when the home team added another 10 points to their edge, effectively sealing the comfortable win. Dallas was dominated across the stat sheet, shooting just 36.0 percent while being outrebounded, 51-35.

Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 20 points, complementing them with seven rebounds, four assists and one steal. Spencer Dinwiddie turned in 17 points, two assists and one rebound. Jalen Brunson furnished 14 points, four boards, four assists and one steal. Reggie Bullock supplied 12 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal.

Stephen Curry paced the Warriors with a 21-point, 12-rebound double-double that included four assists. Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole generated matching 19-point, three-assist efforts, with Wiggins adding five rebounds. Klay Thompson delivered 15 points, five rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Draymond Green registered 10 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block. Otto Porter and Kevon Looney matched Green's scoring while pulling down six and five rebounds, respectively. Looney added four assists.

The two teams reconvene at Chase Center for Game 2 on Friday night.
