Celtics Force Game 7 Against Bucks
The Boston Celtics defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, 108-95, at Fiserv Forum on Friday in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals in the 2022 NBA Playoffs. The series is now tied 3-3.

The Celtics had their backs against the wall in this game and managed to play at a high level right when they needed it the most, and they denied the Bucks the chance of celebrating a spot in the Conference Finals in front of their fans. Boston set the tone of the game quickly with a 28-26 score in the first quarter, but they pulled away for good in the second quarter with a 25-17 score and never looked back. Milwaukee fought hard and try to keep things close, but Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t have help from his teammates while Boston always found a way to remain in the lead comfortably. The Celtics also won the final two quarters, 29-27 and 26-25, respectively, as they raced out to a huge win that keeps the series alive for one more game. Everything will be decided in a pivotal Game 7 at TD Garden on Sunday.

Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 46 points, but he also added nine rebounds and four assists. Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown cleared the 20-point mark, as Brown ended with 22 points, five boards and four dimes, while Smart contributed 21 points, seven assists and five rebounds. Al Horford only scored two points, but he chipped in with 10 rebounds, four blocks and three assists. No other Boston player scored in double digits.

Giannis Antetokounmpo ended with 44 points and 20 rebounds, but he also added six assists, two blocks and a steal. Jrue Holiday had 17 points, four assists and three steals, but he registered that tally by attempting 17 shots. Pat Connaughton had 14 points coming off the bench. No other Milwaukee player scored in double digits in this one.
