2024 Fantasy Outlook
Uribe continued to light up the radar gun, striking out 41 over 23 innings between Double-A and Triple-A before he was summoned for his big league debut last July. It didn't take very long for the 23-year-old rookie to earn high-leverage opportunities, as he was effective with his 3-pitch arsenal. Uribe threw his sinker 61.2% of the time at an average velocity of 99.4 mph with a .179 BA, but it was his slider (32.2% usage) that was truly devastating to opposing hitters (.080 BA, 58.4% whiff rate). He also threw an occasional fastball that registered triple-digits. All in all, Uribe's .151 batting average against was 4th-best among relievers with 30-plus innings. On the flip side, his 15.8% walk rate was 4th-worst. Uribe should be a mainstay in the late innings for Milwaukee for years to come, but improving his control will go a long way towards reaching his potential as a future closer in the league. Demoted to Triple-A
The Brewers optioned Uribe to Triple-A Nashville after Thursday's win against the Rays, Adam McCalvy of MLB.comreports.
ANALYSIS
It's been an eventful two days for Uribe, who is now headed to the minors after being handed a six-game suspension for his role in Tuesday's bench-clearing brawl versus the Rays. The right-hander appealed the ban and allowed a run on a hit and two walks over one inning Wednesday, and he now has a 6.91 ERA and 14:12 K:BB across 14.1 frames this season. The 22-year-old will likely be tasked with honing his command down at Triple-A, and the demotion will give Milwaukee some bullpen security with Freddy Peralta also facing a suspension, as Uribe won't begin serving his ban until he's back on the major-league roster.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Uribe is one of the hardest throwers at any level of professional baseball with a fastball that's been clocked as high as 104 mph. Unfortunately, as can be the case with young flamethrowers, Uribe often doesn't know where the ball is going, holding a career 6.9 BB/9. The right-hander missed most of the 2022 campaign with a torn meniscus but then returned to pitch well in the Arizona Fall League and was added to the Brewers' 40-man roster over the winter. Uribe has closer upside if everything clicks, but with just 65 minor-league innings under his belt, more seasoning is in order.
