2024 Fantasy Outlook
Diggs' 11 interceptions in 2021 may not be repeatable, but the 2020 second-round pick was on track for another strong campaign last year before suffering a season-ending ACL tear in Week 2. In his absence, DaRon Bland emerged as a premiere ballhawk in his own right, but Diggs offers plenty of upside on the opposite boundary, recording at least 14 passes defended in each of his three full NFL seasons. Heading into the first season of a five-year, $97 million extension he signed in July 2023, Diggs will look to establish himself as a key part of new defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer's secondary. Could start camp on PUP list
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday that Diggs (knee) "looks great" as he works his way back from a torn ACL but could still begin training camp on the PUP list, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old cornerback earned consecutive Pro Bowl nods in his second and third NFL seasons before tearing his ACL in September, bringing an early end to his fourth campaign. Though Diggs could still be limited by the time camp gets underway, the expectation for now is that he'll be ready to go for Week 1.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Suffers season-ending injury
Diggs suffered a torn ACL in Thursday's practice, sidelining him for the remainder of the season, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The star cornerback suffered the injury during a one-on-one drill in practice and eventually received an MRI that confirmed the tear. Diggs' ball-hawking presence will naturally be missed, considering his 18 interceptions since entering the league in 2020 tie him for most in the NFL with the Chargers' J.C. Jackson and he'd given up a microscopic 9.9 passer rating on throws in primary coverage through the first two games.

Not surprisingly, Diggs wasn't able to repeat his incredible ballhawking from 2021, managing only three interceptions over 17 games. He wasn't beaten as often down the field, though, allowing only 567 yards in coverage compared to 916 yards the year before. The Alabama product heads into his fourth NFL season with newcomer Stephon Gilmore filling the opposite starting spot at cornerback, which could result in more balls thrown Diggs' way and more chances to create turnovers.
