McBurnie (calf) is facing a late fitness test going into Sunday's contest against Brighton, as manager Chris Wilder told reporters, "We've had a couple of setbacks recently, the likes of McBurnie and Ben, so fingers crossed we can get one or two back for Sunday and that will make us a little bit stronger and give us a better opportunity of getting a result," per Danny Hall of The Star.

McBurnie (calf) has been dealing with a tightness in his calf that saw him sit out during last Saturday's clash with Aston Villa. Manager Chris Wilder told reporters, "He had a tight calf. With Oli's issues that he's had this season, we took a decision. I believe that if he'd have played, he'd have potentially set himself three or four weeks. Whereas not playing tonight might give him an opportunity of playing next week,' per Dany Hall of the Star.

McBurnie assisted once to go with one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Tuesday's 3-2 defeat versus Crystal Palace.
