Draws Munoz in November
Sholinian (visa issues) will take on Johnny Munoz in a bantamweight matchup at UFC Vegas 64 on Nov. 5, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Sholinian is a former Bellator fighter who was dominated by Jack Shore in his UFC debut last September and lost a scheduled matchup against Nathaniel Wood back in March due to visa issues. Now seemingly in the clear, he'll take on a fighter in Munoz who just fought in June (a loss to Tony Gravely) and is 1-2 under the UFC banner. Sholinian has just 11 pro fights at the age of 32, and he'll need to show far better striking output if he hopes to put forth a better display in November. A full camp this time around certainly won't hurt his case.

Sholinian recently withdrew from his scheduled bantamweight bout with Nathaniel Wood on March 19 in London due to travel concerns, freelance MMA writer Al Zullino reports.

Battling Nathaniel Wood in London
Sholinian (9-3-0) is scheduled to face Nathaniel Wood (17-4-0) in a bantamweight fight March 19 at the UFC's event in London, Jonathan Gorrie of the London Evening Standard reports.
ANALYSIS
Sholinian will be looking to bounce back in London after he was defeated handily in his UFC debut Sept. 4, when Jake Shore defeated him via unanimous decision. He'll likely find himself as the underdog to Wood, a London native who should have the backing of the hometown crowd.

Sholinian lost to Jack Shore via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Making his UFC debut, Sholinian was by far the biggest underdog on the card at +450, and it was easy to see why. The 31-year-old deserves credit for seeing the final bell, but that's about the only positive thing to say about his evening. Sholinian landed just 33 total strikes over the course of the 15-minute bout and never had Shore in any sort of trouble whatsoever. The Ukrainian will likely receive another shot with the company, but the upside here is non-existent.
