Washington plans to work Lee up to 75 pitches in rehab before he returns from a left flexor strain, reports Jessica Camerato of MLB.com.

Lee made his first rehab appearance Monday, tossing one inning for the Nationals' rookie-level Florida Complex League team. He's eligible to return from the 60-day injured list Wednesday, but he'll need a few more rehab appearances before joining Washington. A late-August or early-September return seems most likely at this point. The 25-year-old has made only eight starts above the Single-A level in the minors and the Nationals could option the lefty when he's healthy in an effort to get him more experience.
