ANALYSIS
The defender suffered the injury in the opening minutes of the game, with Bulldogs team doctors diagnosing him with structural damage to the shoulder soon thereafter. Gardner had been averaging 7.0 disposals and 3.7 marks through the Bulldogs' first three matches.
