Instead of organizations lying low and waiting for the fabled free-agent class of 2010 to hit the open market, teams across the league have made numerous high-profile moves to try to cement their place as championship contenders. The numerous trades and big name free agent signings have been discussed ad nauseam, but some moves that could have an impact in fantasy have fallen through the cracks. Here's a look at some of those moves.

With the other Eastern Conference powerhouses making big moves and reloading on talent (Vince Carter to Orlando, Shaq to Cleveland), the Celtics needed to make a splash of their own to keep up. Sheed will fit right into the starting lineup alongside Rondo, Allen, Pierce, and KG -- his game couldn't have been better complemented at this point of his career. He no longer has what it takes to be relied upon every night as the #1 or #2 option and needs a slow-it-down halfcourt offense with clearly defined roles for each player. Boston gives him exactly that. Grade: A-

Does Not Compute

The Pistons get Villanueva and Gordon, the Magic get Vince Carter, the Grizzlies get Z-Bo... and I don't get any of it.
