With Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III going first and second, the first round of the 2012 NFL draft changed the landscape of fantasy football right off the bat. This year's version could not have been more different. It took over an hour, and eight picks, before anyone was chosen who would make even a small impact in 2013 fantasy football, with speedy receiver Tavon Austin going to the Rams. It was nearly another hour before a quarterback was drafted, with E.J. Manuel going to the Bills. Manuel was the only quarterback taken, and no running backs were chosen. Let's assess.

Only Two weeks until the real NFL Draft takes place, and I look like an absolute fool for even trying to predict what actually happens. I am operating under the assumption that there will not be any trades. With that being said, I fully expect there to be a significant amount of movement, starting with the Cleveland Browns at pick #6. This draft isn't loaded with elite talent, but it is a very deep draft and there is a ton of quality that can be found in later rounds.

Week 16 Injury Analysis report is here although I am pretty sure most of your fantasy seasons have come to an end and a champion has been crowned. However, there are some leagues that go until the very final week of the season although I personally am not a fan of these as it punishes teams who have players without a lot to play for in the final week. This information instead may serve useful in any sports bets you may want to make or just simply for your interest in reading about sports injuries.

The Giants played as badly in Baltimore as they did in Atlanta the previous week, to the point where one wonders why they bothered to make the trip. A forfeit would have been more dignified.

Week 15 Injury Analysis is up and there’s not a lot of new injuries to discuss so I’m going to make this a “Reader’s Suggestion Issue” in which I’m going to let anyone make a comment regarding what player’s they would like updates on and I will be given quick responses so that you can hopefully use the information to take down the crown in our league.

There is just one player that I would like to discuss since I am from San Diego and it has been a rough past few years being a Chargers fan especially when the ownership decided in the last offseason that staying with Status Quo was the answer…..that didn’t seem to work out too well.

I really thought over 0.5 for the combined point totals of the Bucs, Giants and Chiefs was a lock. Seriously, how did the Saints OR Raiders, allowing 29 and 31 points per game, (30th and 32nd, respectively) shut an opponent out?

Welcome to the Week 14 Injury Analysis. I assume all leagues are either continuing or starting playoff games next week so it will be important to know what you should do about the few players that suffered more significant injuries in last weekend’s games. As always, feel free to leave comments about players I did not discuss or if you have comments on my analysis.

Robert Griffin III: Last weekend it looked like RG3 had his season ended when his leg violently swung in the air after taking a big hit and surely appeared that he would have a significant knee injury. Somehow he escaped with only an apparent Grade I LCL injury. Most people are familiar with the MCL (medial collateral ligament) injury.....
