McLaughlin led three Team Penske cars in the top four on the speed chart Wednesday after another rain-interrupted day of practice for the 108th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, IndyCar.com reports.

McLaughlin won the Children's of Alabama Indy Grand Prix powered by AmFirst for the second consecutive year at Barber Motorsports Park, again using a mash-the-gas, three-stop pit strategy in his No. 3 Good Ranchers Team Penske Chevrolet to earn his first victory of the season and his fifth career win, IndyCar.com reports.

Team Penske rallied from one of the most tumultuous weeks in its storied history by seizing both front-row starting spots for the Children's of Alabama Indy Grand Prix powered by AmFirst on Saturday afternoon at Barber Motorsports Park. McLaughlin earned his first NTT P1 Award of the season and his sixth career NTT IndyCar Series pole.

McLaughlin finished third in the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg NTT IndyCar Series race Sunday afternoon.
