Mason Fine

Fine completed nine of 11 passes for 75 yards and a touchdown and netted no gain on his one carry in the Roughriders' 28-27 preseason win over the Elks on Saturday.

Fine will start in Saskatchewan's final preseason game against the Elks on Saturday, 3DownNation reports. "Taking into account Mason's (opportunity) got cut short, we'll make sure he gets a healthy dose," head coach Corey Mace said. "Every quarterback that's going to be dressing will see some snaps, no doubt."

Fine completed two of four passes for 25 yards and an interception during Saturday's 38-13 loss to Hamilton. He also rushed once for two yards.

Fine (hamstring) doesn't have a designation for Friday's game against Ottawa.
