Tyrese Haliburton Shines As Pacers Top Knicks In Game 3
The Indiana Pacers defeated the New York Knicks, 111-106, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Knicks lead the series 2-1.

The Knicks came only a few minutes away from securing a 3-0 lead in the series against the Pacers. What happened was that the Pacers managed to come through late in the contest, and they flipped the script in the final 12 minutes to steal the win and make it a series, ensuring a return to Madison Square Garden for a Game 5. The Pacers got off to an impressive start and grabbed a 29-20 lead in the first quarter, but the Knicks showed signs of life in the second quarter. A 38-34 score in the second quarter reduced the deficit to just five points, and New York carried that momentum into the second half. A 32-22 score in the third quarter gave the Knicks a five-point lead ahead of the final 12 minutes, but they couldn’t hold on to their advantage. Sparked by the elite play of Tyrese Haliburton, the Pacers came from behind and stole the win after outscoring the Knicks by a 26-16 score in the fourth quarter.

Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with 35 points, seven assists, four rebounds and two steals. Myles Turner finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks. Pascal Siakam had 26 points and seven rebounds. Aaron Nesmith had 10 points and six rebounds. The Pacers shot 47.2 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from deep.

Donte DiVincenzo had 35 points, three rebounds and two assists to lead the Knicks in scoring. Jalen Brunson had 26 points and six assists, but he only shot 10-for-26 from the field. Josh Hart had 10 points, 18 rebounds, four assists and two steals. Alec Burks chipped in with 14 points and Miles McBride added 10, both coming off the bench. The Knicks shot 47.5 percent from the field and 51.9 percent from beyond the arc.
